In 2009,we upgraded our kitchen/canteen and it was in full use by the finals of 2009. The project involved extending the canteen toward the oval by 3.5 metres and the width of the extension was 7.5 metres. Peter Mumford prepared the foundation while Colin Sonntag laid the besser blocks. Greg Bell provided the kitchen fit out, Steven Plummer the flooring, Roy Burns the gyprock ceiling fixing and the Electrical was done by Brett Cox.
David Daish supported the project with supply of the rear loading coolroom, which was a key design consideration. The extension is now a much improved fit for purpose facility allowing a free flowing and safer environment for our staff and volunteers.
